    Clouds again by Peter Brooks

Evening light yesterday. Spot the lead mining chimney way up on the horizon, more or less just a black dot.

Self converted D200, AF 18-55mm kit lens (at around 35mm).

Very nice Peter! I love the clouds! The image is well framed.

This is about a 40 minute drive west of here. It's part of the Green Lake Conference Center, https://www.glcc.org/index.html ,which is really strange. The barn is on the same (huge!) property. I'd driven by the gates before, but this was the first time we went in. People from Chicago have summer homes around the lake, and this convergence center has tons of strange things, an old hotel, houses, cabins, a 36 hole golf course, old barns, about 12 weird towers....They have summer camps for kids, conferences, and....? I think it was originally associated with the Baptists, but I'm not sure that's still true. They have a train car that was used for missionary work in the West from about 1907-1945 (ish). Now, it's a small church with pews that can hold 50 people.

The building in the picture is called "The Log Cabin Museum", but it doesn't seem in use....

And your image has an air of mystery to it, unlike their boring image!

On occasion I noticed there is real life outside the GG/viewfinder.

Thanks, Les! I'd driven by the entrance to this place a number of times. I had no idea how immense it was, and how much was back there. There are miles of narrow roads on the property.
