I decided that one of the previous vertical images I posted needed to be cropped.
I don't know why a few branches would be white while the others are darker in tone.

New growth versus old? You really get incredible sharpness in your IR pictures. Mine are fuzzy wuzzy by comparison!

Perhaps. They all looked the same green to me. I dunno about the sharpness results. The 3 lenses I have for this camera are budget lenses by Leica price-point standards with the Zeiss 25mm being the sharper of three.
I've seen this as well in foliage, could it be areas of highly active photosynthesis? Rather than the older and somewhat jaded growth?
Maybe someone with the appropriate biology / physics knowledge could enlighten us as to what's going on here...
