Vintage Camera Repairs - anyone left?

Looking for someone to repair a vintage Voigtlander 9x12 with a frozen shift mechanism (separate thread).
I can't figure out how to take it apart and too afraid to damage it further.
Ken Ruth of Bald Mountain has retired.

    Any leads will be appreciated.

    Renato,

You may want to try Frank Rubio (The Camera Doctor) in nyc.

I'm not sure if they work on vintage cameras, but Advance Camera here in Portland do fix film cameras and they seem knowledgable. They successfully repaired my GF670 a few years ago. Also, the people at Blue Moon Camera (also in Portland) are a wealth of information. If anyone would know, they would.

I don't know if they would take on a whole camera? (Possibly.) But, Dave at Advance Camera has glued bellows onto frames, and has cut lensboards for me.

Consider Dan Daniels. I'm super pleased with price and service

Geoff Berliner hooked me up with Frank Rubio to fix my prized Makiflex. Expensive but worth it. Frank has a CNC machine. Ken Ruth also fixed another Makiflex but it took over a year. Both were a good experience.

Dan Daniels is an excellent fabricator

Here is a site that once upon a time was the meca of vintage camera repairs. Its finally been resurected so it needs more people participating... go register and ask your question there? You can also search for your camera n see ifr there are threads on your camera, maybe even a manual.

If its a Kodak Retina* you'd like to get serviced, I do those. I've been doing this for 2.5 years now, and I service and average of 3-4 cameras a week in recent times.

*I don't service the Reflex Retinas: seriously over-engineered nightmares.
