I think this is now old enough to need another look

    Particularly ULF fantasizers like me

I saw his antics when he was fresh news

    I also thought, why?

as the window of light is closing on giant film cameras

    i might

    anybody know of others?

Yes wet plate has been there

    and Dry plate

both will be possible for a while...

Anybody know what was the biggest sliding box camera?

    Maybe 'falling plate'?

I was quite inspired by him then and of course still amazed by what he built and shot.

His website is gone and never heard from him for a while.

The other one is Chris McCaw. Equally inspiring. I hv yet to build that trolley cart camera lol

Lindsay Ross has been using a Chamonix 24x32 wet plate camera for a few years now.

    Good points all

I could also make internegs to use 14X36" X-Ray from 4X10" or roll film pano

    as I have done that
