ya know those focus-spot deals very often on the top of kalart rangefinders on speed or crown graphics?? they work by shining a light down thru the rangefinder and you focus by making the two light spots, one

well.. I was thinking of getting a couple laser pointers and putting them on top of the 8x10 fixed..so that the dots co-incide at the focus point...on my 8x10 century studio camera

drawback- firing two lasers at/near subjects eyes... otherwise..not bad..eh?
