2 Durst 184. Shouldn’t need much but a good cleaning. 1840 color head and Ilford 500

    Few actually want a 10X10

Those that do are preserving them for wiser young people

I easily remember the 10X10 purges that occured on a massive scale for the last 2 decades

they look like my drill press! those are great well built enlargers. shame not many appreciate quality anymore in our disposable society. i love stuff like that, i just dont have the space for it n if i did... my house would be a museum.

i see your wood working machines are getting squeezed out...

Nice find. Those are getting very scarce. I have not seen an 8x10 durst on ebay or craigslist for a while.

Found these on Facebook marketplace. Wish one of them had the vacuum baseboard like my old L184.

I don't know if I have it in me to refurbish another big Durst. Got nowhere to put another one anyway. 138's and 184's are rewarding to work on because they were so well built to begin with. It's a joy to bring them back to their former full glory. Sadly, the majority of ones I've been offered went to the scrap metal heap instead. I'm a user, not a collector or dealer. Just like stray kittens, you can adopt only so many of them.
