150mm - 165mm for 4x10

The Angulon 165mm; I have two copies of the 90mm version for 4x5, and I'm not totally convinced about the corner sharpness. Still it's very small and light and perhaps possible to get hold of. There is one on the big auction sit just now for $600.
The Kowa 150mm f9 also looks interesting. There is one on sale for $785 in a #1 shutter.
The Wollensak options feels like a jungle. I have to dive in for a bit, before I can surface.

Still, it have to wait for a month or two. I just went for the even wider options and ordered a Fujinon SW 125mm for $370.

The Wollensak jungle isn’t so bad if you have a guide. There are two common* Wollensak 6.25” (159mm) wide angle lenses that cover 8x10: a f/9.5 and a f/12.5.

The f/9.5 is an 8/4 design available either uncoated (engraved “Velostigmat Series III”) or coated (engraved “Raptar” or “Anastigmat”).

The uncoated version of the f/12.5 lens is a 4/2 design engraved “Series IIIa EX. W.A.” The coated version is a 4/4 design engraved “Extreme W.A.”

All will cover the format, none will break the bank. The choice depends on availability and whether you prioritize coating and/or a comparatively modern shutter: the coated versions are in Alphax and Rapax shutters.

To my disappointment, my Graphic Kowa 150mm would not cover 4x10, though I tried all manner of lens spacing variations.

*For the sake of completeness I’ll add that Wollensak did briefly make a third 6.25” wide angle lens that covers 8x10, a f/6.8 4/4 lens with optional coating offered only from 1946-1947. This version is rarely encountered, but there you have it.

Thanks for the info. I might try one of those eventually, if I can find a good copy and shutter. And as long as they are at least single coated I'm OK,

I use that Fujinon 125 you mentioned with an 8x10 back. I got mine for about $400 a few years ago and they are pretty common. This is a modern design, multicoated lens, so it is a good choice if you want sharp detailed negatives for enlargement, and don't need movements.
About 12 years ago I was choosing between the 125 Fujinon and the 150 Nikkor. The field of view of both is about the same (after I crop the corners a little on the Fuji 125 negatives). I correct for converging horizontal or vertical lines in the enlarger, so the Fujinon has served me well all these years.
