Hello,
Can anybody of you give me a hint what the diameter of the front and rear lens cap of a Fujinon W 125 is?
Any feedback is highly welcome!

Unfortunately there are lots of different versions of this lens so you might need to be more specific as to the version you have. I have an early 125mm NW (labelled as a 'W' but with lettering on the outside of the barrel) it has a 46mm front cap and a 39mm rear. You can see a list of the different versions here - http://www.subclub.org/fujinon/byfl.htm
Thanks for pointing me to this website - it is confusing, indeed! My lens seems so be from the NW series with a 55mm filter thread.
Assuming I interpret this number correctly, a 55mm lens cap should fit well.
W125 F5.6
Filter is 46mm
lens cap is 48mm

These were made in three different thread sizes. W vs NW apparently has nothing to do with it. You need to be specific. Mine is a 52mm thread.
For a 55mm filter thread you need either a 57mm slip on cap or a 55mm screw in or pinch type.

The nominal inner diameter of the lenscap would be the outer diameter of the lens barrel. Every one of my Fujinon caps has this number molded in the plastic.
My 125mm Fujinon has 85 and 80 caps.
