Can you elaborate on how this is done? Do you have access to a medical lab or similar environment? Or is this something that one can do at home?

I own commercial high resolution x-Ray equipment and although I’ve never worked formally in the field I’ve had training in X-ray applications and safety. I’ve been doing this for 55 years as an art form and used it for other commercial applications including advertiding campaigns and nondestructive materials inspection. I primarily use x-rays as an art form now and sell through galleries, license images for murals and ads and do commissioned work for corporations.

This isn’t something you can buy a bunch of equipment and start doing. You’re working with ionizing radiation that has cumulative effects and can cause cancer or kill a person. Also equipment is very expensive. The equipment I use cost in the neighborhood of $50,000.

Yep, I have a few. Somewhere. All good exposures, very nice, indeed.
