Help needed with bromoil

So I’ve got the sulphite, I’ve redone two prints, being careful with times and temps aaaaaaand - Nah.

Just as poor differentiation, in fact worse.... this inked in negative wtf! Bromoil is supposed to tan the areas with silver, how on earth can the silvered areas take [I]less[I]ink!!??
