    IMPORTANT DATES
    - Yosemite Renaissance 36 will open at Yosemite Gateway Art Center in Oakhurst on Friday, March 19th.
    - The presentation of awards will be announced on March 19th at 5 pm, but there will be no traditional reception. we will host a virtual event instead. We encourage you to visit the exhibit while it is on display. Please share the details with friends, family and you own social networks.

    Congrats, Jim. Be accepted into the show is a great honor. It has a great tradition as a muli-media showcase of Sierra-inspired art for, well, 36 years. And the book is amazing.

    Vaughn, thanks. I'm glad you got to see it. The nice thing is is that it will be at the Yosemite museum during our workshop in October!

    Congrats Jim ... carbon is such a great medium ... looking forward to seeing the exhibit ... and you ... at Vaughn's carbon workshop in October ... October is one of my favorite months to shoot in Yosemite.

    Well, Oct is a long time to wait; but by then most folks will be vaccinated, and the ones that aren't are probably more interested in carbonated booze than carbon prints. Glad to see it happen, Jim. I'm tempted to swing by and see the actual book in person. Congrats!

    Drew, it would be nice to meet you. I'll be bringing an extra copy to show the workshop students and friends up close and personal. A private showing if you would. So come on up if you can. October 21st through the 24th is the workshop. I'll be there a few days early.
