    8x10 Polaroid / New55

    Hey!
Who is enjoying shooting 8x10 Polaroid or New55 PN100 / 400 and wants to share some pictures ?

I would really enjoy seeing some large format "instant" Photography!

Is that even available anywhere in decent shape. I looked for the 4X5 version a year or two ago and the stuff I got hold of was completely dead.

If I could find a processor for decent price I would shoot it.

I had a 8X10 processor and a pile of expired film

Nothing good came from MY expired Polaroid as the packets dry out

I am still shooting a pile of FujiFilm Roid also expired and it still works as the packets were sealed much better

btw that same 8X10 processor was sold at least twice on this forum years ago

The famous format makes NEW55 PN 100 and 400. 4x5 Black and White Instant Film for the Polaroid 545 Holder. Polaroid themself make 8x10 Film in color and bw new. So no particular need to shoot expired stuff

I have shot the new Polaroid B&W 8x10 stuff. It's fantastic assuming you have clean rollers and good technique. I have one framed in my office.

Remarkably 10 sheets of Polaroid film is cheaper than 10 sheets of Kodak 8x10 color film. Something is wrong with that picture IMHO.

The problem is that Polaroid doesn't make enough of it, and it doesn't last long in it's unexposed state. The last part is not a huge deal as you can burn through a box in no time, but if you can't get more...well that is a problem.

The new 55 stuff...meh. Results I've looked at are not encouraging.
