    That's it, Jason.
    It actually turns out I have a set of each - with spare caps for each.
    Wonder what I'll find next mixed in with the "stuff".
    Seeing no way to get liquids in and out without removing the cap, I presume developing must be done solely in a darkroom?

    Yes, with developing tubes you pour the chemicals into the spare caps, and flip the lights off as you swap them. It isn't as easy or convenient as the Jobo tubes, but it allows you to easily modify the development time for each sheet of film in the same session.
