I don't want to use an enlarger?

(sorry, Tin Can beat me to it. )
The Viewfinder is the Soul of the Camera

If you don't believe it, look into an 8x10 viewfinder!

    Magic of big contact print.
    That’s my subjective criteria.

However, you may consider getting an "ensmaller" to reduce those ULF negatives down to 8x10 or 4x5 for greater resolution than any mere contact print.

    Re: Why ULF

    Nothing is automatic
    No batteries needed
tray processing and by inspection if lucky enough to know how to
Sheer pleasure of hanging up an 11x14 negative to dry
Stop and park on the side of the highway and set up two florescent cones. With the ULF camera, police just drive by or stop and put on their flashing lights to protect me while I am shooting.

    negatives:
people just stand there and stare at me setting up and shooting
problematic to shoot on very windy days
