I've never had much interest in studio photography such as portraits. For me the point of photography is it's an excuse to roam.🙂 When out roaming the backroads I do come across some interesting people and love spending some time hearing their stories. Country folks are generally friendly and cooperative--it's a tradition. Once I get to know them a little I can usually take a nice portrait of them doing what they love. These are the kinds of photos I like to take.👍
    I brought my largest camera, a Kodak 2D 8x10 (1921) with a 300mm Velostigmat lens in Betax shutter (1920s), plus Reis 100-2 tripod & J250 head. Film was Ilford FP4+, ISO 125.

Nicely done, Two23. Ironically perhaps, it reminds of Eugene Smith's early compositions, mostly 35mm.

Kent, love your philosophy and the composition is compelling.

It is a wonderful picture. I like the light very much and the composition of the picture.
The woman is a special beauty. Is it lisia.dama?

    Best regards, stephan
