For those of us (or maybe it's just me) who don't know who Carol is can you give a full name and contact information?

I have my LF shutters maintained by professional Camera Repair here in Houston.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

I will second the motion for Zack's in Providence RI, he just recently brought an Ilex 4 back to life for me. Was using another repair shop in the same area, they do well with SLRs and TLRs, not so much LF experience/success.

Dan Daniel Cameras just cleaned up my chrome 240mm f5.6 Symmar in Compur and did a great job. Really reasonable price I will have more for him

Then I sent it to Jason Lane (Dry Plate Manufacturer) who disassembled the individual optics and cleaned them of fairly thick milkiness. Items are now best possible. Also extremely reasonable optic service

Camera Techs in Seattle is an option. http://www.cameratechs.com/

They've serviced other mechanical shutters for me and will be doing a CLA on a Compure 3 for me in the coming weeks. I was quoted $159 and a couple of days in the shop for the service.

The most recent time I talked to Carol last year she told ne that her husband was in hospice care but she was still working, although at a slower pace.
