I see that the old Azo Forum is no longer online now that Michael has passed. A few years back there was a discussion on what brand release cable he used and I was a German brand but I don’t think it was Gepe. Anybody remember what brand it was?

FWIW Gepes have a long enough throw to cock and fire my Ilex Universals. My Minettes will not.

However do not buy fabric sheathed ones. The new Gebr. Schreck stretch or shrink and fail at an alarming rate.
