    New Ilford MG RC Portfolio

Ilford is now coating its fifth-generation Multigrade RC emulsion on the thicker "Portfolio" RC base as well. Pearl surface only for now.

That's because they are no longer offering the paper with pre-printed postcard back. The template isn't as good as the real thing, but at least they're acknowledging and trying to be responsive to those customers who were fans of the postcard product.

    Agree

I got almost the last of NOS Postcard size 4X6

AMAZON had 20 boxes on the Ilford store, but it was on a closed LA Dealer eBay

then 13. minutes ago and 11 now as I bought 2 more

The trouble with stencil or drawing on the back of RC is plastic doesn't hold ink very well

    Heh, I'm slow sometimes...

Agree about the backprinting, RC is generally pretty picky about what pencils, inks, etc. it will take.

Any left-over IV is going to be pretty old stock at this point - it's been out of production for a while.

I seem to be specializing in old film, old paper and old everything else

I even have old Rodinol, a full case, several gallons of old TF5

    old distilled water too

and my eyes are aging quickly

I cancelled Glaucoma surgery last week as I don't trust the old waiting room, old coughing people in it and really old doctors

all my LF lenses are old, my newest wood camera is my age

    the good old days
