Pyrocat HD part B adding dry chemistry to distilled water + part A

To make 1liter of Pyrocat HD working developer.
I want to start with 800ml of distilled water and then add 10ml part A.
    Then add sodium carbonate
    Then top up to 1liter
How much sodium carbonate (anhy) or (mono) or crystal should I add?

    7.5G assuming you’re using 1:1:100 dilution.

I mix up Part A and Part B in distilled water, and keep them in separate bottles. Then I add 10ml of each to a liter of tap water when I develop film. The Part B will last forever mixed.

I use Arm & Hammer Washing Soda from the grocery store. A poster on the old Azo Forum called the company and learned it is mono hydrate. I don’t think in this application it makes much difference so long as you are consistent. You’ll adjust your developing times as you get used to the developer.

People say the B solution doesn’t go bad, but I’ve seen it happen a couple of times. Mixing the dry chemical avoids this, and it can also help avoid contaminating the A solution.
