Linhof Technika III 5x7 restoration

The 13x18 plate back with the Linhof Munchen oval logo dates from 1950-1953 and was replaced with a fixed spring back until the IV in 1957. The IV back was improved over the early style spring back.

The gunmetal grey/black back arrived with the V model in 1963 but was originally tan. The dark grey appeared about 1983 and remained until 5x7 Technika production ceased in 1986.

so 30-36 years between backs...

I don’t know how many years are between the two backs

It seems I will have a similar project but I will need to find a rear standard as well as the back. So far I have been unsuccessful in finding either...
