It seems that Industrial Non Destructive X-Ray Testing 'NDT'

Uses or used to use film that size

I got a couple that will need a mod

I am not selling mine

I will need a deeper tank

I wonder how difficult it would be to graft 2 8x10 hangers together ? guessing the stainless would be the problem.

I could cut film to fit my new hangers to 3.5 X 17 for super pano

Many many years ago, over drinks at the bar down the block from the lab, I was telling Dan Oshima (RIP) from The New Lab in San Francisco, that I was experimenting with some 9.5" aerial E-6 rollfilm, and was considering making cut film holders for panoramic cuts from the stock. His response? "Cool, I'll have Stainless Steel hangers custom made for you if you want"
Dan O was one cool Dude.

This is what I have

I may cut out the middle, allowing 7X17" film to fit easily

Then make acrylic gas burst tanks

Today I found 2 up 7X17 hangers

2 x Channel Hanger 7" x 17" 2 in 1

The last ones were eBay. this if from a NDT vendor
