So I am looking to build my 3rd foldable camera, and this time i am in need of mechanical advice.
I can't seem to figure out how the front standart double focusing knobs are made, what goes into what?

I understand how it moves and most of the metal parts used, but the double knobs are still a mystery. How does the smaller knob release the swing, what is it connected to exactly?
Maybe someone has a Chamonix 45F-2 or the Intrepid MK3 and have dissasembled to see for themselves?
I would like to recreate the same thing on my future camera.
