    A 'rona boredom question.

Aside from being oh so slow, is there any reason why I wouldn't want to use ortho film for night photography?

Expanded-red-sensitive was the preferred option, like Tech Pan or the earlier version of TMax, which also came in glass plates. There are websites dedicated to amateur astro photography which include film applications. Maybe ortho sees little green men better in alien space ships, if you can talk them into not moving for a few hours at a time.
