My Omega Pro Lab timer was working properly when I packed it away, years ago.
Now it doesn't work. Any suggestions besides a trip to the dump. Does anyone service these.
I had gotten used to the audible clicks when burning and dodging. bk

I have that timer and, aside the large size, love it. Buying a replacement should be easy. Seems they are often available for about $50. But have you seen this for a DIY option:

Thanks for the link!
Similar thing happened to me with an LEKTRA timer that was in storage for 15+ years. Plugged it in and nothing. A friend who is an electrician told me to remove the cover. Then remove, clean with fine sandpaper, and reattach all the slip on wire connectors one by one. Did that, put the cover back on, and plugged the timer back into the outlet. The timer has worked fine since then.
Thanks for all that valuable information. I really hated to throw it out. I'll try Greg's suggestion first- the easiest. Then Brian's link sure was interesting. Thanks all. bkp
