Yes this is not a difficult service of the achromat - it will as good as new.The photos on the other threads show it has normal aged balsam and it will take about 3 weeks to dissolved the old balsam. Most 19th Century Petzvals have been rebalsamed at least once.

I don´t find any other Kranz lenses, where do you look to find other ones?
