Lenses to fit inside a Busch Pressman

I'm sure someone has answered this before but I can't find a thread..

I know that that 90mm Angulon will make a nice wide.

I am already close to acquiring a 135mm Rodenstock that I know will be my standard lens on the Pressman D that I am refurbing.. (any other 135 or 150 that will allow the camera to close..)

Another question is, which 210 will fit inside the camera.. preferably not just fit the board and bellows but also allow it to close..

Perhaps some Press men out there can report back..

    with thanks..

I have a 2 by 3 Bush Pressman -- there is not much room for lenses, either across the lens board or for closure. I could barely fit a Kodak 100 mm Wide Field Ektar on it.

If you find a 210 mm or so that fits, please let us know.

A quick search turned up the following as fitting in camera: 90 Angulon, 135 Steinheil Culminar, 135 Sironar-N, 150/5.6 Symmar Convertible, 150 Caltar-II S, 150 Geronar, 150/6.3 Fuji-W, 203/7.7 Kodak Ektar, and the 210 Geronar.

Thanks Chauncey that's a good list.. how did you find it ?? Appreciate the suggestions everyone.. But definitely looking for the less 'experienced' lenses as I have been unlucky with old shutters in the past..

On the Model D, the back of the lens board, to the ground glass, is 1.6" (measured with calipers), and the bellows fully collapsed. I have a 8.5" f/6.3 Commercial Ektar, and it only protrudes around 7/16" from the back of a Speed Graphic lens board. You should have plenty of room.

A Caltar 210mm f/5.6, mounted in a Copal #1, protrudes 1.125" from the back of a lens board.

I used the 8.5" Commercial Ektar for years when I owned another Model D. I never had a problem with closing it.
    Best,
    Dennis

Kodak Ektar 100mm/6.3 Widefield was frequently used in the past.

As to 210 mm lenses none of the newer ones will work that I am aware of. The 203/7.7 Kodak Ektar has a excellent reputation.

Please ignore my reference to the 2 by 3 Pressman (Model C). I mis-read the original post.

The 135 Sironar-N and the 210 Geronar are among the more recent lenses and the 210 Geronar that I used with my Pressman was like new and very inexpensive (and, being a very late design triplet and multi-coated, made wonderful images).
