Liquid pump for possible DIY processor

Ran across this item and thought it might be a good start for an automated film processor. Mix the chems and let one pump deliver them and another to remove them. Add an air pump for agitation and a light proof processing tube. Its computerized too so could likely be close enough on the timing.

That is a good idea, but a 1 L max

I would want 5L at least

However if it fails a human may be very upset that we didn't retain the personal touch

I listen to every 1 second gas burst every 10 seconds and I become agitated if there is a hiccup and quickly switch to manual

yet, it has happened only twice and I MAY have made the mistake, lulled by the bubbles

I have my doubts about how fast it can fill a development tank. I find it can deliver max 50ml/minute. So unless you can lift your film out of the tank until it is full this doesn't look good because the lower part of your film will be far longer in the chemicals than then top.

I didn't see the pump speed. Since it is for aquarium use it is probably is slowed down. Programming would also limit volume so theoretically any volume could be used and duration of pump action would have to be programable. I was thinking along the lines of a SP445 tank size which only requires 475ml, but at 50ml per minute even very dilute EMA techniques would not work. But who knows gradient negatives might become a thing....
