Lens has some separation and a smallish chip on an internal front element-doesn't appear to have any adverse effects.

Platinum print from a couple days ago, first printing...the negative was taken June 21, 2019. A rare gathering of friends -- all have worked together at one point or another -- land restoration, fisheries, trails, etc. At Paynes Lake in the Russian Wilderness (California). It would be hard to get a solid number, but between the ten of us, we've put at least a million trees into the ground (remember -- green side up!)

    5x7, 180mm, F16 at one second on FP4+, PyrocatHD

Edited to add: asking around the group...sounds like it is a few million trees between all of us. Of course, those trees are 40 years old or so -- the plantations will be thick, not enough water for all if any distance from the coast, and many are toast this summer's fires.

This is such a great image and a cool story! Did you have a self timer on your lens? Those funky Spiratone type mechanical timers? I need to get one of those.

I am not physically in the photo -- just to the extent the photographer is always present. I did take a couple more -- one closed to f64 for 15 seconds in which I sat down in the image, and one a little later at f64 at "multiple minutes' as my notes say (getting darker -- without people knowing and I stood in front for awhile of the fire as not to over-expose it).

Cross-post from the new products area, two sheets of FP4+ developed this morning, both of my partner sewing things for her side-business.

Both were developed in the new fully-automatic film processor I've been designing and building for a while, if you're interested in that sort of thing you should check out the blog post I made about it: http://midtonemachines.com/news/miss...plished-kinda/
