    Re: Tacoma Wash shops

Seattle has Glaziers' Camera - they have some used cameras, lenses, film, paper, chemicals etc. You could check on line to see - it has been a while since I have been there. Kenmore Camera is further north (at the north end of Lake Washington) with often some used lenses maybe a camera, sometimes tripods, and bags. Just what comes in used. Very little chemistry and paper if any. Again I would check on line and call before going there if you are seeking anything particular. There is a used film photography store in Seattle Lake City neighborhood - "Shot On Film Store" - I haven't been there but a friend has had good things to say about the store - I don't know what in large format they currently have.

Afraid that on first glance my brain parsed the original thread title as "wash shops" in Tacoma... < sheepish >

Blue Moon in Portland comes to mind, if you're willing to think of ~150 miles as "near" - or if you're passing through there on the way to Tacoma.

I’m in both Tacoma and Portland off and on all year for business. Will have to try that one. Have been to both Glazier and Kenmore but been a long time. Just getting back to LF after a 10yr hiatus. Thanks for the suggestion so far.

Blue Moon is definitely a place for quirky film-camera stuff. I haven't been there in person - bought a pinhole camera from them via mail order - but at least per their website they seem to usually have some LF in stock.

Just a tip, don't go into Blue Moon if your trying to avoid buying more gear. Hard to leave that story empty-handed.

It was actually easy. They aren’t open. Online only.
