    Help With Epson V800

Friday it worked fine, today it produced a fault.

It is producing a straight vertical line down one side of the negative. I have tried several negatives and the line is apparent on all, even on the preview.

I have tried both the 8x10 lens and the regular lens. Tried Vuescan and Epson Scan both same.

    Update:

I turned the scanner on its side and gave a few taps with the palm of my hand and this seems to have fixed the issue.
Only conclusion I have is that there must have been a very small particle of something on the sensor

Or some "stuff" on the calibration strip (above the scanning area). More likely, as more exposed to outside dirt than the sensor.
