Need Help Identifying a 4x5 Piece of Equipment

    Good evening everyone,
I purchased large lot of darkroom items and there were some medium format cameras, lenses, and shutters with them, those I know what they are. However, there were 2 identical items that look like viewing screens that I have no idea what they are or how to use them. I thought they may go to two of the cameras I received as well, they are both Calumet Cadet 4x5 view cameras with red bellows.

I have been shooting 35mm as well as 2 1/4 film for many years but never 4x5 so I am at a loss. I was wondering if someone out there would take a look at one of the items and give me a little insight as to what it is and how it works. The only marks I can find on it is: 431.21.329 / ATOMS No.478 Oh, and the frosted glass says: Swiss Made.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I enclosed a few photos hoping they would help.

Thanks for your time and expertise.

Looks like the rear standard, or most of one, for a Sinar F-series camera.

This is a front, Sinar F (F or F1?) standard. Rear standards have a focus device; this one doesn't.

Notice that it has the long risers for use with a 5x7 or 8x10 rear standard.
