Schneider 47mm on Linhof Master Technika?

Can someone confirm the Schneider Super-Angulon XL 47mm F5.6 in Copal 0 will work on the Linhof Master Technika on a flat lens board?

No, it won’t. Nothing shorter then a 90 will work on a flat board.

Unless your plan is to put it on a flat board, stuff it into the body and then attempt to focus by pulling the back out and pushing it in. Not the way to go.

Get a humble 4x5 Crown Graphic. Linked rails, makes focusing when the standard is on the inner rails easy. Minimum extension 52.4 mm. The 47 SA XL's flange-to-film distance is 59.1 mm.

For the record, this is indeed possible (drop the bed fully of course). Make sure you have the back in horizontal orientation or the bed will still be in the shot IIRC. Use the tripod head to do a vertical shot if you need.

Messy, but as long as you don't have the standard cocked horribly causing unintentionally left/right tilt, it's fine.
