I asked Yamasaki-san about ordering from abroad in case anybody is interested in polishing and coating old lenses.
He said it’s ony through shops in Japan.
I will ask him again about which shops accept orders from abroad usually.

Please do not confuse two companies similar in the names.
Congo lenses were made by Yamasaki Optics Lens Lab, which closed business in 2013.
Taiyo lenses were made by Yamasaki Optics Photographic Lens Lab, which is still in business.
Of course the owners are relatives.
Just as a note, “Congo” brand name is derived from “金剛”, which means hard and strong.
