    Lockdown learning continues.

With this particular plate, both of my red (bicycle) LED's died at the same time in the darkroom, so this was developed in complete darkness! I'm really happy that I got any sort of image here, lesson learned - invest in a proper headlamp

    Well done, Frosty!
Your contrast is much better than what I'm getting with my plates.

Together with the help of Ferry van der Vliet we had a long and intense shoot but both Jimmy and me were extremely happy with the final result.
First two made with Dallmeyer 5d at f6
Last one with 350mm Hermagis at f 4.5
    All about 4 secs exposure

    Lakeport, SD

I hauled my Kodak 2D 8x10 down to the former townsite of Lakeport last Sunday. I wanted to test my new lens--a c.1880s rapid rectilinear FL=22 inch. I used a 5x7 back to make 5x7 tin types, and it came out pretty clean! The church was built in 1884. The sign reads": "Katolicky Hrbitov" which is Czech for "Catholic Cemetery." 20 second exposure & f22.
