The protrusion of the Nikkor on a flat board is very similar to the Schneider on the recessed board. It is certainly easier to adjust the controls on the Nikkor.
Not if you had the current LInhof board. It’s easier then the flat board.

It’s not the current board. I am guessing the lens and board are about 30 years old. The new board alone costs more than a nice used lens including board.

Edit, the lens is ~40 years old. Serial number 13 750 xxx.

Unless you buy a used one, or one at discount.

The Apo-Sironar-S 150 also folds nicely into the Technika on a flat board (a Master in my case, but should fit into a V, too), only without lens caps. Having had a choice between a 150 Apo-Symmar-L on a recessed board 001015 and a similarly priced Apo-Sironar on a flat board, I decided for the Rodenstock and like it very much.
