Thanks you guys. The camera was on a tripod with a long air bulb cable release. The bird was comfortable with the camera after placing some peanuts in front of it the day before.

DAng it!!! I was sooo impressed by how you handheld this like you were wearing a 3 piece suit and a cap like Weegee. With a cigar dangling from your mouf. And you call your wife "dame".

I'm so let down right now, a tripod! And you baited and waited.

Well, handhold expectations for a bird portrait but not for human portraits.

Okay, I'll play for July. I got a covid shot in! I know, social distancing. Yes, we had masks and we had at least 6' spread. A few good drinks and a-l-m-o-s-t dusk. I managed to get a shot in at 1/30 (shutter has 1/25 but I'll call it 1/30) @ wide open 6.3. Kodak Ektar 12" lens, 8x10, Arista EDU 400 @ 200. HC-110 Dilution H. I'm kinda liking this dilution.

Not much in post processsing. I don't love exteme contrast when it comes to portraits.

My buddy works in chip manufacturing. Scares me to think what his company sells to the government. As he calls it, "not very friendly products" aka, it kills people or aids in the killing of people. One time, during a heavy drinking sesssion "you should see the resolution we sell to the gov compared to consumers".

    Thank you.

Mr. Steller's Jay and I have some history. He's trained me to feed him. He will fly and land really close to me trying to get my attention if I ignore him. When I come home, I hear his Rebel Yell from a distance as he flies toward me. So I decided to take his picture.
