    This was at the selected aperture by the auto setting. Also this was scanned at 4000dpi and downsized to 300dpi. The shadow areas? Those are dark. If you are referring to the middle of the image, a lot of that was in sunlight, plus could have used a center spot filter.

    What you are seeing is throw flicker and other sites mess with your photo when you upload.

    How this image looks depends a lot on how we view it

    On my cell phone, not so hot, as it's too small, a 1st gen SE

    On my monitor really good

    after the 'news'

    I will look at it on my nice TV
