    Kodak Photo Guide Question...

Does anyone remember if there is a bellows extension factor calculator in those little Kodak Photo Guides? I had one and I have somehow lost it. I know there is a depth of field calculator that was very handy, but can't remember about the bellows extension. Thank you! Robbie

Yes, in the Master Photoguide as recently as the 1981 version.

Not in my 1997 version of the Professional Photoguide.

    Re: Kodak Photo Guide Question...

Some of the older '50's ones have that rotating wheel (that I find annoying) and don't have the ruler scale...

I have a couple of the Calumet scales that are longer that help doing macro work...

If you loose the target chip, they are 2X2" and you can dig for some old 35mm slide mounts to do the job... (Don't forget to pluck them out of the scene before shooting!!!) I leave a piece of tape stuck to them if I need to stick them on a subject...

I keep meaning to scan/print/laminate those old Calumet scales to have many kicking around...

But I keep a photo guide in each case or bag for other things like filter factors in case I forget them...

I've never seen a Calumet scale. But the photo guides are very handy. I do not know what I did with mine. I just bought a 'new' one, which means my old one will turn up any day now.

    Thank you Steve..

I keep this in my pack - Paper disc and you measure the size of the target on the ground glass using the supplied ruler. Works very well for the few times I have needed it.

Yes I forgot how to find that. I think it works pretty well.
