    Liquid Orthazite formula

    Hi gang,
I have just about used up the last of my Edwal's Liquid Orthazite. Does anyone know the formula for it? I hate the idea of wasting materials trying to replicate something when the answer is there for the asking.
    Thanks,
    Chris

I thought it was simply overpriced benzotriazole, which is readily available in powder form. Maybe someone else can confirm that.

    Hi Drew,
Thanks for responding. The bottle says that it contains Sodium Sulfite and Benzotriazole, but gives no indication of quantity.
    Thanks,
    Chris

Chris, I would suggest making a 1% or 2% stock solution of Benzotriazole. The chemical is available from the Formulary and was sold by Kodak as Anti-Fog #1. I used it for many years without adding sulfite. Be sure to mix with hot water.

    Perhaps users could research Benzotriazole

and here, perhaps women and children avoid
