awty, I like your idea. It's reminiscent of campfire light. Some might add a hint of light either on or from the background to separate figure from ground subtly. Keep up the good work. Imagination and trying out will take you farther than any number of "three-point lighting" tutorials. Lighting is about creating an effect with QDR: Quality, Direction, and Ratio. These, along with a grasp of how light intensity increases and diminishes with distance from the source, are, in my view, a better way to approach lighting of any kind.

Thanks Philip, had a big old uv tanning light reflexted back onto the subject to give a nice warm firelight look, think it worked well. I need to work on my back lighting a bit more. Also made some make shift soft boxes higher up to even out the light a little. Lighting is tricky, I have played around with still life lighting before, there you have the benefit of time. Anyway I will keep on practicing.
This is great, where did you get your lens from? do you know is it possible to use these lenses on an ebony sv45te?
thank you

Same as before but at f11. Adjusted the back light a little. Think I might put some eyes into the globe.
Was hastily conceived and executed, girl child had places to go people to meet.
