SP-445 and Cinestill DF96 monobath - beginner experience

This is a first try. Lots to learn, and that's evident from all the artifacts in the scan. Any and all feedback is welcome.

LMT with Nikkor 360 f8, Ilford HP5+. Had intended to set the temperature to 70 F but totally forgot to do that. The temperature inside the tank might have been around 68 F or so. So I left it a minute longer - 7 min. Agitation was 30s initial, then about 10s every 30s. And then washed under running water for ~15 min. Scanned using Epson V700 at 720 dpi.

Have you been using the DF96 before is this your first time? I tried it out on some 35mm film a few weeks ago. Quick and simple and good results but maybe a little grainy but it's been a long time since I've shot 35mm. I was going to try it on some 8x10.

First time with DF96 as well as the SP-445 tank, so who knows how many things I am getting wrong. I did try the monobath with a Lab-box for a 120 roll a couple days ago. Seems to be more even development than what I have above.

Have had some more luck with the Df96 + SP-445.
