Hi guys, besides laying it down on the glass and getting lovely rings, what's your go to way of doing a quick scan of a 4x5 while retaining all the edge markings?
    Looking for some good tips

I scan my 5x7 negatives just as you say. Right on the glass. I put another piece of glass (ANTI NEWTON RING GLASS) over the top. In a bind, I have used just a sheet of plain glass, but that would produce imperfections if you are planning to print big. Works just fine if you’d just like to digitize your shots to post.
