There is a story as to how I became involved in this. The museum director, Gene Sasse had been gifted a large number of photographs, among them some of mine and some by my father. I volunteered to sort out what I could, having lived a bit of the history relative to many of the photographs. It is a work in progress.
A couple of years ago, Gene invited me to participate in an exhibition with a nature theme, and chose a print of what is currently on the cover of the collection e-book. Perhaps as a thank you, but I appreciate the opportunity to share what I know of the history of West Coast photography.
