Processed my first 3 negatives today, only had time to do a quick scan of one. Probably not my best image, but still exciting because it was the first color processing I’ve ever done. Harman Titan 8x10, Portra 160NC, Cinestill C41, Stearman Press SP-8x10.

Still have E6 and B&W to process.

My contribution to WWPD 2020, made with the camera described here: https://www.largeformatphotography.i...building/page5
Film was Kodak Dental Panorama X-ray film (exp. 2009) which I rate at ISO 100, developed in D-76 1+1 for 8min. Exposure was 8min20sec under window light from overcast sky. I like this film very much and find it very forgiving. It's double sided.

Since the day is past and this has turned into a picture-sharing thread (yay! ) I'm moving it from Announcements into Image Sharing where it can continue to receive the attention it deserves without getting in the way of new announcements.

As much as I like my Titan pinhole camera I really need to build an 8x10 pinhole camera with either offset pinholes or some kind of rise.

    Roger,

Thanks! Glad you like them. I originally got the idea of such a sharp rise when I was going to photograph downtown Chicago with a 6x24 "medium" format camera, but that's still in pieces. Meanwhile I started looking up more and noticed the trees in my neighborhood. There's not much exceptional about them as such, but trees in general are pretty spectacular when you really give them some attention. I generally like pinhole photography because of the things I can do that I wouldn't be able to otherwise. Maybe in this case that's not as apparent as with curved film planes, anamorphics, etc., but I don't think I could afford a lens that gives me this kind of coverage, even if one exists - that's an equivalent of a 6" lens with at least a 480mm image circle.
