Valentin Linhof sold his shutter making business around 1900.
Linhof often had his trademark added to lenses/shutters that he bought in for Linhof cameras. Inside, they are exactly the same as the usual Models from Deckel (Compur etc.).
There are very few good workshops and a repair cannot be guaranteed due to shortage/absence of some spare parts.
Any of the Linhof service centers, Precision or Nippon, for instance. As long as they have parts they can fix it. Any service center in the USA can repair or do a CLA on a shutter. That is camera repair 101. But, if something is broken they must have or be able to make the part. They can’t buy new parts.
