looking for a lightweight P&S 4x5

I`m afraid it is a DIY kind of task. For sure not too difficult but I wonder if it is really worth it (economically and practically).
@Jose thanks was just curious. I did find a nice 3-d printed camera out of the UK that looks promising. looks better than the travel wide so might give that a try
I bought a COSMOS pin hole camera from China which can take linhof board Schneider SA 58XL using hyper focus.I paid around USD70 for it without finder and focusing screen, quality is not bad for this price.
I have built several of these, it’s actually quite easy. A 65mm is just about a perfect fit. here is a pic of a recent one: Attachment 202877Attachment 202878
Other custom cameras are on my Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dirkfletcher/albums
@dirk the attachments don't seem to work for me but I went to your flicker page and that's exactly what I was thinking. so no shimming/spacers?
believe it to not NO!! the first one I made used a double O shutter and the second one was a standard 0 shutter and its remarkable. I wanna say the second one needed a layer of tape or two but its quite nice. I usually shot at f/16 or 22...
Good luck!
Dirk
Dirk, your creations are very impressive!
@dirk so was it the 72mm cone like this one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ilford-Dire...ty!89128!US!-1
Thanks!
Rayt, THANK YOU! It’s fun, I have a pair of 6x12 and another wide camera on the workbench, I’ll post them if they ever get finished!
Dave 4242, that is the camera, it’s the stock cone that comes in the starter kit.
Have fun!
Dirk
