Any thoughts on why my film washer is not working?

toilet washer...hmmm....a special basket, with film/paper dividers, that secures to the top of the bowl. Three flushes for films...five for prints - and Bob's your uncle!

You know, i think this idea has merit. It would mimic the “ 3 trays of fresh water” technique, allowing you to pick your soak time for each cycle—say 5 minutes. This might be less efficient for containers over 8x10 for example but of course testing would tell. In continuous flow 30 minutes at 1/2 gal/minute would still be 15 gallons. I don’t know if the “toilet washer” would use that much or not.
