    Reading a Luna-Pro

This is a bit embarrassing, but its been many many years since I used the Gossen Luna-Pro in the closet. Am trying some film, and have forgotten how to use it. Read the manual, but just a few questions - surely simple ones:

    - assume that one should use the yellow triangle for general readings...
    - and is the reading the same for incident and reflective, regardless of where the white diffuser is? Assuming the lighting conditions are the same... I seem to recall some adjustment if you slid the diffuser over the reading opening, but can't find anything in the manual about this.

    Thanks....

    Geoff

The Luna Pro is a Lunasix 3 rebadged for the US market. Manual here: https://www.butkus.org/chinon/flashe...ix3-splash.htm

Yes, use the yellow triangle. The red and green markers are for use with the spot attachment.

If you are using it for an incident reading, you slide the diffuser over and still use the yellow marker. No adjustment necessary.

Great meter, but these days you have to get it calibrated for modern batteries (Quality Light Metric) or use an adapter or it won't be linear.

    I found your problem:

"This is a bit embarrassing, but its been many many years since I used the Gossen Luna-Pro in the closet."

Step out of the closet! No light there.

Couldn't help myself. Apologies in advance.
