Zone VI 8x10 vs. 5x7 picture

I may have both... It looks like I have the entire thing for the 8x10 and not the light for the 5x7... I have two post and a an assortment of carriers from 5x7 down...

The 8x10 carrier is a glassless tray that pulls out between the light source and the big adapter cone. It's a great setup. I will need to look later, the carrier may be part of the light source.

I use my 5x7 primarily for 6x17. Beseler for medium format and 4x5. You absolutely need a compensating timer with these heads, mine came with a Metrolux II timer amazing. Zone VI made a compensating timer. Also the British fellow makes a beautiful vario f stop timer.

You're right, the Metrolux timer is Great for cold light heads. The vario f stop timer can be seen at:

The Metrolux is easier to find used than the RH product.
