    web page

When I retired in June of 2018 I hoped that one of my first projects would be a web page with a blog. Well, I found plenty of other things to do and only recently got it done! Most of the imagery is color, small format digital, but there is a section of B&W photos done mostly with a 4x5, some medium format.

In spite of the emphasis on smaller format digital, I'm posting here because this is the only photographic community that I belong to. My blog posts are generally about photography, but only aspects NOT pertaining to format and "techy" things. Oh, and I've included a bit of commentary on California, for the benefit of Drew.

So please check it out if you are so inclined: https://www.greggwaterman.com/

I visited your very nice website, made a comment, but could not subscribe

A ring or some sort of way to link LF websites would be nice, that is not commercial such as FB, Flickr, etc

I may even make one some decade...

Very nice in its simplicity, and as expected (after seeing your work here for many years), beautiful photographs!

Thanks for the gracious comments, everyone. I made the website with Wix, and have not yet seriously attempted to figure out any fancy features like comments and subscribing. I think the problem is that I haven't yet linked up an e-mail account to the site?

I'm in the fortunate position of finding myself very busy in retirement - I'm currently preparing a talk I'm supposed to give in the academic department that I retired from!

I really enjoyed seeing your work, Gregg. Don't let retirement get in the way of your photography any more than it has to!

I'll look forward to updates as your exploration continues.
    Where are we going?
And why are we in this handbasket?

Gregg, thank you for sharing your photographs. As you may suspect, I am particularly drawn to the black and white work, which is well seen and executed. The UW Library series is marvelous in this regard, and the color work is refreshingly understated and a pleasure to view. Well done!

I look forward to seeing more.

    Best,
    Merg
